Lights, Camera, Action!

Here’s a class where the kids do it all! After learning great Acting and Drama skills, give your child a chance to explore leadership skills in a fun creative environment. The kids will brainstorm ideas for a movie, write the script, create characters, design costumes, cast the parts, decide on locations to shoot scenes, and MAKE A MOVIE!! The last 30 minutes of class will be a Special VIP Movie Screening, starring you, for friends and family! Price includes a DVD copy of the movie!

Grades K-5 (January 11, 18, and 25, February 1, 8, and 15)

Class is on Wednesdays and runs one and a half hours long from 1:50-3:20pm with a final production using costumes, props and a scripted show on the last class! Everyone is welcome!!

Cost: $137.00 plus tax. Cost includes a DVD of the movie made during this class!!

Location: Seven Bar Elementary School-Lobby space outside of the office and library!

The above dates take into consideration all Seven Bar Calendar events. New material in each session, and all classes are age-appropriate to challenge and thrill your child creatively.

HOW DO I REGISTER?

Click on the yellow “register” box. Look under after school programs, You will see Seven Bar listed as an option. Simply follow the prompts. Registration is quick, secure, and takes approximately 5 minutes. We also offer multi child discounts for siblings at checkout. You will receive a confirmation email alerting you that you have a spot reserved in the After School Drama Club, and more updates will arrive as the class gets closer. The Lion King

Join us as we sing, dance, and enter the jungle with fun characters like Simba, Pumbaa, Timon, Nala and more! Animals of all kinds will be so much fun to act out, in our mini-version of The Lion King. Each child will be assigned a part, choose a cool costume, and have lines to memorize. We will learn acting skills, fun improvisation games, and facepainting! We will also learn a fun song and dance for the final production for all our friends and family to see on the last day of class at Manzano! Hakuna Matada, lets go play!

Open to Grades Pre-K, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5! Maximum number of students is 12 for each session!! Register EARLY!!

After School Acting Club in the NE Heights!!

Every month includes face painting, fun comedy and Improvisation games, Acting for Stage and Movies, crazy costumes and props! No makeup dates are available. You must register before the month begins.

Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30 pm

February, 2012 Dates: Feb. 7, 14, 21, 28

Cost: $50.00

Ages: 6-11

Location for February: SY Jackson Elementary School, 4720 Cairo Drive NE, Albuquerque, NM 87111. SY Jackson Elementary School is located across Montgomery from Eldorado High School on Cairo Drive NE. (Students are NOT required to attend SY Jackson to participate in this class.)
