A twelve-week course designed for the advanced actor, looking for that next step along the path to become a master craftsman, or craftswoman.
This is not another scene study class, but a study in how to create, develop, and execute a character that is truly wonderful to watch.
This course will help the actor navigate the waters of the ever-elusive “Islands of Dynamic Character” through specific storytelling, character creation and the goldmine for any actor, Essence. How to define it, commit to it, and execute it as all great actors do.
Within a safe and supportive environment we will be pushing the limits of challenging personal emotions, relationships, and situations.
The goal is to continually raise the bar for New Mexico actors and for the craftsman to be able to confidently answer the call when asked to play a character that is the farthest thing from who you are and where your wheelhouse is. Versatility as an actor is power in this crazy, cutthroat industry.
Oh and by the way, the secrets out. We can't hide it anymore.
Better training makes better actors and better actors get the work.
