“After performing in my first play at age five, I knew that the theatre was a magical and wonderful place. As my desire to perform morphed into my desire to share my knowledge, I realized that drama brings many positive qualities to ones’ life.

Acting develops self-esteem, adaptability, problem solving skills, and teaches us how to communicate with others. The theatre helps us learn how to better sense the world around us, to perceive differently, and to celebrate ourselves and our life. It is my goal as an instructor to create a safe and fun place to experience the magic of theatre.

After understanding the basics of theatre, delving into the world of film and television is equally exciting. To recreate a feeling or moment on camera involves hard work and dedication, but when achieved can affect millions of viewers. Together, film and theatre provide a creative outlet that is ripe for exploration.”
